No such thing as inclement weather

Got stuck in the rain the other day. It wasn’t terrible.

Only poor clothing choices

Her: The artichokes were good. But they’re just too much work.
Me: They’re the crayfish of the vegetable world.

It’s been quiet around here for a change. Most exciting thing was that I made the Firecracker artichokes for the first time.

Did get stuck in the rain the other day though.

It wasn’t that bad.

After all, there’s no such thing as inclement weather, only poor clothing choices.

Location: bed, waiting for the sandman
Mood: sleepy
Music: no music, just the rain

Hi Logan- I’m a long time lurker, and I came across your blog in a somewhat circuitous way back in the late 2000s (it feels crazy to me to write that but here we are!). I’ve never commented before but your recent back issues compelled me to reach out. Beyond the McKenzie method (with which I am not admittedly not familiar) I really wanted to pass along info about Stu McGill:

https://www.amazon.com/Back-Mechanic-Stuart-McGill-2015-09-30/dp/B01FKSGJYC/ref=mp_s_a_1_1

My husband has dealt with chronic back pain and found a lot of relief from the guidance outlined, and we’ve appreciated McGill’s practical, no nonsense approach. He has some amazing stories of athletes he’s rehabilitated which is great evidence for his effectiveness. More important, I feel like his exercises are less time consuming than what you’ve mentioned with the McKenzie method.

I hope this helps! I read your blog for wisdom and inspiration and thank you for sharing your life out to the broader world.

What a great comment to read, thank you for sharing! I’ll check it out and thanks for the positivity as well!
